Screen Mirror setup
Parked only- Download and install the APK on your Samsung phone (tap it, allow "Install unknown apps" if asked; a Play Protect warning about an unknown developer is expected).
- Turn on the phone hotspot, 5 GHz if available.
- Connect the Tesla to the phone hotspot.
- Open Drive Bay Mirror, tap Start, and approve the screen-capture and VPN dialogs.
- In the Tesla browser while parked, open https://drivebay.duckdns.org/ — it should load with no certificate warning.
- Audio comes through Bluetooth. Tap Stop in the app when done. Mirroring does not work while driving (the car blocks video in Drive), and DRM apps (Netflix etc.) show a black screen.
Drive Bay Mirror is our own app: it streams your phone screen to the car browser over your hotspot. Nothing leaves your devices.
